Body length: 8 - 12 mm Life cycle: 1 year Adults in: May - June Host plant: Scorzonera sp. (Asteraceae) Distribution: a species endemic to Turkey Agapanthia fallax is a species endemic to Turkey. According to Rejzek et al. [2003(2004)] Agapanthia fallax develops in Scorzonera sp. (Asteraceae). To the best of our knowledge the species has never been collected outside its type locality. The depicted beetle was collected in Buglan Gecidi (East Turkey).
