The mounted male was captured on wing in Dobøichovice village (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic). The female was beaten from oak (Quercus) in Pouzdøany (South Moravia, Czech Republic). The living beetles were captured on wing in Srbsko village (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic). This species occurs early in the spring (about 15. May in Central Europe) and prefers oak growing on south facing slopes with thermophilous vegetation. Collected by M.Rejzek (the prepared male) and M.Hoskovec (the prepared female, and the living beetles).
