Body length: 12 - 20 mm

Life cycle: 2 - 3 years

Adults in: May - July

Host plant: polyphagous in deciduous trees (Quercus, Acer campestre)

Distribution: Europe, Crimea, Rossia

The mounted male was captured on wing in Dobřichovice village (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic). The female was beaten from oak (Quercus) in Pouzdřany (South Moravia, Czech Republic). The living beetles were captured on wing in Srbsko village (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic). This species occurs early in the spring (about 15. May in Central Europe) and prefers oak growing on south facing slopes with thermophilous vegetation.
