Distribution: Spain, Portugal, North Africa

The mounted beetle was collected on thistle (Asteraceae) near San Pedro (Spain). The living beetle was collected whilst sitting on thistle (Asteraceae) in Janzur (Tripoli suburban area, Lybia).
