check lists

The classification and nomenclature of Cerambycidae and related higher taxa have recently been subject to many changes. Authors vary in their views on these subjects, frequently considerably so. For this reason we offered a number of leading Cerambycidae specialists the possibility of publishing their own versions of check lists on our web site in order to provide the entomological community with a practical tool enabling a quick search, immediate comparison and cross-referencing between the various check lists.

If referred to in literature the check lists should be cited as the work of the relevant author together with the Internet resource. For example:

Danilevsky M. L. (2003): Systematic list of Longicorn Beetles (Coleoptera, Cerambycoidea) of Europe (Version March, 2003).
In: Hoskovec M. and Rejzek M.: Longhorn beetles (Cerambycidae) of the West Palaearctic Region.
URL: http://cerambyx.uochb.cz/index.htm

Each author is fully responsible for the content of his contribution. The contributions do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the authors of this web site. The check lists from M. Danilevsky are not updated from 2004...
