Ergates (Callergates) gaillardoti Chevrolat, 1854 occurs in Turkey, Syria and Lebanon. The species develops in Pinus spp. and it is often accompanied by its close relative Ergates (Ergates) faber (Linnaeus, 1767). The beetles in the pictures were reared from larvae collected in Kassab N Latakia (NW Syria) in a dead decaying trunk of Pinus halepensis.

Distribution:Turkey, Syria and Lebanon
