Distribution:	a very rare species endemic to the Carpathians (Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Rumania)

The depicted beetles were collected on leaves of their host plant (black honeysuckle, Lonicera nigra) in Podbánské (Vysoké Tatry Mts., North Slovakia). The species is under a strict protection at present and can not be collected without breaking of the law!
