Distribution:Europe except NE, Caucasus, Transcaucasia, Turkey

The living beetle was collected and photographed in park-forests in Dresden city (Saxony, Germany) on a freshly felled pine (Pinus sylvestris) log. The mounted beetle was collected in Doksy (North Bohemia, Czech Republic).
