Body length: 13 - 18 mm Life cycle: 2 years Adults in: May - July Host plant: probably polyphagous in deciuous trees Distribution: Azerbaidjan, North Iran This rare insect is endemic to the mountains of the Caspian region. We have recorded it from Pterocarya and Quercus but other deciduous trees will probably also serve as hosts. The depicted beetle was collected near Asalem (North Iran, Gilan province).
