The adults of this very nice Trichoferus species were collected in Mersin, South-West Turkey.
Here, it seems to be broadly polyphagous on deciduous trees. Larvae, pupae, and adults of Trichoferus
kotschyi were collected in Quercus spp., Ceratonia siliqua, but also in dead herbaceous
plants.
