The mounted beetles were reared from dead large diameter branch of Ficus carica. The branch was collected in Neo Ithilo (Lakoonia nomos, SW of Peloponnese, Greece) in May 1998. This record represents the first evidence of this introduced species' presence (North Indian origin) in continental Greece. The living specimen was reared from a dead walnut (Juglans regia) branch found near Githio (Lakoonia nomos, SW of Peloponnese, Greece). Collected by M.Hoskovec.
