The depicted mounted beetles were collected by P. Berger in Vallon du Cairos (Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France) in June 1992. Both specimens in the collection of Adam Woźniak. The depicted living beetle was collected in SE France by F.Kovařík.
