Michal HOSKOVEC

Born in 1963 in Prague. Graduated in Organic Chemistry at Institute of Chemical Technology (Prague) in 1987. In 1992 defended the PhD thesis "Synthesis and Structure - Activity Study of the Clearwing Moth Sexual Pheromones". An chemist, entomologist and photographer. Specialised in taxonomy, faunistics and macrophotography of Cerambycidae of the West Palaearctic region. Michal HOSKOVEC is working in the group of Dr Irena VALTEROVÁ as a senior scientist in the field of insect chemical communication research.

Martin REJZEK

Born in 1965 in Prague. Graduated in Organic Chemistry of Natural Compounds at Charles University in 1988. In 1993 defended the PhD thesis "Synthesis and Activity of Compounds Imitating the Action of Insect Juvenile Hormones". An chemist and entomologist. Specialised in taxonomy, biology, and faunistics of Cerambycidae of the West Palaearctic region. Martin REJZEK has joined the group of Prof. Rob Field at John Innes Centre as a post doctoral researcher working in the field of total synthesis of natural products.
