Jordanoleiopus annae, an endemic species to Oman, has been described from Dhofar Governorate of Oman by Maxim Alexandrovich Lazarev and Yuriy Evgenevich Skrylnyk in 2023 [▽].

Body length:♂♂ 3.8 - 4.5 mm / ♀♀ 3.9 - 5.1 mm
Life cycle:1 year
Adults in:August
Host plant:polyphagous on broadleaf trees and shrubs (Croton sp., Jatropha dhofarica)
Distribution:an endemic species to Oman


The depicted male beetle was reared from larva found in Croton sp. 6 km W Dhalqut (N16°41′56″ E53°11′29″; 450 m a.s.l., Jebel Al-Qamar range, Dhofar Governorate, Oman) on January 21-22, 2018.
