Distribution:Europe, West of European part of Russia

The living beetle in these was photographed on flowers in Margecany (NE Slovakia). The mounted specimen was reared from larva collected in dead fir (Abies alba) found in Úpoø creek valley (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic).
