This interesting and elegant Cerambycid species has been introduced to Europe (northern Adriatic)
from North America in the last century and is spreading now.

The depicted beetles were reared from larvae found in a dead trunk of lotusberry (Celtis australis).
The trunk was collected in Šušnjevica (15 km east of Pazin, Istra peninsula, Croatia).
