The depicted beetle were collected and photographed on Gundelia tournefortii in the peak region of Nemrut Dagi Mt. (Adiyaman prov., Anatolia, SE Turkey). Gundelia tournefortii Linnaeus (Asteraceae) has recently been reported [Rejzek et al. (2001)] as the host of this species.
