Aegomorphus krueperi, a reltively rare species endemic to Balcan Peninsula, has been described from Agrinio environs (Aetolia-Acarnania regional unit, West Greece) as Acanthoderes Krüperi by Gustav Kraatz in 1859 [▽].
Body length: 12 - 16 mm Life cycle: 1 - 2 years Adults in: May - June Host plant: mainly oak (Quercus spp.) Distribution: a species endemic to Balcan Peninsula (Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia)
The depicted beetles were collected on oak (Quercus frainetto) in Meteora region (Greece) in May 2013.
