Agapanthia lederi lederi, a taxon occuring in South Russia, Georgia and Armenia, has been described as Agapanthia lineatocollis var. Lederi from "Caucasus" by Ludwig Ganglbauer in 1884 [▽].
Body length: 12 - 20 mm Life cycle: 1 year Adults in: May - July Host plant: Cephalaria gigantea [?] Distribution: South Russia (North Caucasus), Georgia and Armenia
The depicted beetles were found sitting on leaves of its probably host plant (Cephalaria gigantea) growing in mountain meadows ca 4.5 km south of Kajaran (Քաջարան, Syunik prov., South Armenia).Collected by Michal Hoskovec
