Anaesthetis confossicollis, a East Asian species occuring in Russian Far East, China, Japan, Korea and Mongolia, has been described from Russian Far East by Julius I. Baeckmann in 1903 [▽].

Body length:5.5 - 9 mm
Life cycle:1 - 2 years
Adults in:June - July
Host plant:terminal twigs of oaks (Quercus spp.)
Distribution:Russian Far East, China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia


The depicted beetle was collected in Lazo (Лазо́) village environs (Lazovsky district, Primorsky Krai, Far Eastern Federal District) on July 1-14, 2015.
