Arhopaloscelis bifasciata, a species occuring in Russian Far East, North China and Korean Peninsula, has been described from "East Siberia" as Rhopaloscelis bifasciatus by Gustav Kraatz in 1879 [▽].

The depicted male beetle was collected in Prosyolotchnaya environs (Tachingousa bay, Lazovsky district, Primorsky Krai, Far Eastern federal district, Russia) on July 2-5, 2010.
