This not well known and relatively sparsely collected species has been described from Konya environs (Turkey) as Clytanthus trifasciatus v. robustior by Maurice Pic in 1900 [❖].

Distribution:an endemic species to Turkey


The depicted beetle was collected in Refahiye environs (Erzincan Province, Eastern Turkey) on July 6, 2005.
