In Europe a common species developing mainly in living branches of aspen (Populus tremula).

Life cycle:	2 years
Adults in:	May - July
Host plant:	prefers aspen (Populus tremula)
Distribution:	Europe

The beetle in the pictures was photographed on Populus tremula in Dresden (Saxony, Germany).
