The depicted beetle was collected on a flowering Centaurea sp. (Asteraceae)
in the peak region of Nemrut Dagi Mt. (Adiyaman prov., Anatolia, SE Turkey).
In Turkey Cortodera colchica is usually collected on Centaurea triumfetti
(Asteraceae) which very likely serves as its host [Rejzek et al. (2001)].
