Demonax savioi, an East-Palearctic species occuring in Russian Far East, Korea and China, has been described from Jiangsu province of China as Clytanthus Savioi by Maurice Pic in 1924 [✧].

The depicted female beetle (8.8 mm) was collected in Lion Cape (Мыс Льва) environs (N42°41′18″ E131°14′51″, 12 m a.s.l., 10 km NE of Andreyevka/Андреевка, Khasansky district, Primorsky krai, Far Eastern Federal District, Russia) on June 12, 2021.
