Dorcadion apicerufum, a montane species occuring in East Turkey, Armenia and North-West Iran, has been described from Armenia by Stephan Breuning in 1943 [▽].

Host plant:roots of grasses (Poaceae)
Distribution:East Turkey, Armenia and North-West Iran


The depicted beetles were collected in alpine meadows on south-eastern slopes of the highest mountain of Armenia, Mount Aragats (Արագած; 2700-2800 m, Aragatsotn province, Armenia) on June 14, 2012.
