Dorcadion halepense, a rare species occuring in South Turkey and Syria, has been described from Aleppo environs (Syria) as Dorcadion Saulcyi var. Halepense by Gustav Kraatz in 1873 [❖].

Life cycle: 1 year
Adults in:April - June
Host plant:roots of herbaceous plants and grasses
Distribution:South Turkey, Syria
