According to our repeated observations in South-East Turkey Echinops sp. (Asteraceae) serves as host plant of Purpuricenus wachanrui Levrat, 1858. According to Rejzek et al. [❖] in Turkey Echinops sp. (Asteraceae) serves as host plant of Pteromallosia albolineata (Hampe, 1852).
