Body length:10 - 20 mm
Life cycle:2 - 4 years
Adults in:June - August
Host plant:polyphagous in deciduous trees (Alnus, Fagus, Salix, Populus, Quercus, Betula, Corylus etc.)
Distribution:Europe, Turkey, Caucasus, Transcaucasia, North Iran


The living beetles were reared from larva found in dead alder (Alnus glutinosa) in Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area (Central Bohemia, Czechia) during winter 2020-2021.
