Phytoecia (Phytoecia) annulipes has been regarded again as a valid species, not only subspecies of Phytoecia icterica, and redescribed by Mikhail Danilevsky in detail in 2008 [❖].

Distribution:an endemic species to Turkey (Kastamonu, Bolu, Erzurum, Kars, Afyon, Yozgat, Çorum, Kütahia, Ankara, Osmaniye, Aksaray, Kahramanmaras provinces)


The depicted beetle was collected in South Turkey.
