Phytoecia aspericollis, an endemic species to Kazakhstan, has been described from Kara-Tau chrebet by Carolus Holzschuh in 1981 [▽].

Host plant:unknown, probably Boraginaceae
Distribution:a species endemic to Kazakhstan


The depicted beetle was collected 19 km N Kentau (785 m a.s.l., Tary-Ozen river downstream, Karatau Mts., Turkistan region, Kazakhstan) on May 6, 2014.
