Pseudosphegestes longitarsus is a very rare species from Turkey. The depicted beetle was found in a dead
branch remaining on a living oak (Quercus) in Karadut (Nemrut Dagi National Park, Adiyaman prov.,
Anatolia, SE Turkey).
