Host plant:	polyphagous in deciduous trees (Quercus, Ulmus, Paliurus, Salix, Castanea etc.)
Distribution:	Europe, Caucasus, Transcaucasia, Turkey, Near East, North Iran

The mounted beetles were collected on a dead Christ's thorn (Paliurus spina-christi) in Leptokaria (NE Greece). The living one was reared from larva collected in Turkey.
