Depicted alpine meadows in altitude 2100-2300 m near village Vaghatur ( Վաղատուր) (Medz Ishkhanasar mountain range, Syunik province, Armenia) were habitat of Dorcadion indutum Faldermann, 1837. D. indutum was the most abundant insect in this locality during our visit on June 11, 2012) - we observed hundreds of specimens running in the grass.
